Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a Canadian immigration pathway administered by individual provinces and territories, except Quebec, to address their specific economic and demographic needs. Through the PNP, provinces and territories can nominate individuals who have the skills, work experience, and intention to settle in that particular region for permanent residence in Canada.
Once nominated by a province or territory, candidates can apply for permanent residence to the federal government through either the Express Entry system (if applicable) or a separate paper-based application process. PNP offers an alternative pathway for immigration to Canada for individuals who may not qualify for federal programs but possess the skills and qualifications desired by specific provinces or territories.
